Tanjiro Kamado and his friends from the Demon Corps are hurting after a fight with a family of spider demons when they are approached by the Hashira， the elite group of demons slayers。 This would seem to be a good thing， but the Hashira have a problem with his willingness to keep his little sister Nezuko， who unfortunately was turned into a demon when their family was attacked two years ago。 The Hashira demand that she be exectuted and want to take Tanjiro out when he refuses to let that happen。 Tanjiro Kamado and his friends from the Demon Corps are hurting after a fight with a family of spider demons when they are approached by the Hashira， the elite group of demons slayers。 This would seem to be a good thing， but the Hashira have a problem with his willingness to keep his little sister Nezuko， who unfortunately was turned into a demon when their family was attacked two years ago。 The Hashira demand that she be exectuted and want to take Tanjiro out when he refuses to let that happen。While Tanjiro and his friends find themselves being drawn into the lives of the Hashira， Kibutsuji， the demon who attacked Tanjiro's family， is doign everything he can to rally his minions and find Tanjiro himsels so the young demon slayer and his sister can be destroyed。I found the Hashira to be an interesting addition to the mythos in the series。 Tanjiro and his friends are certainly moving forward in their personal development as demon slayers and have a growing confidence in their skills as they continue to train。 While I am enjoying the story and characters， I find myself struggling a bit with something that happens （for me） with manga: it seems like I am only getting a skeleton of the plot and story。 The presentation seems to skim through everything rather than having a complete telling。 This is not something I normally struggle with in other forms of graphic novel。 。。。more

I love a good training montage， and this volume is mostly that。 Information on Kibusuji and his 12 Kizuki is revealed to the reader。 The Hashira！， Rehab training at the butterfly mansion， learning about Kibusuji and his 12 Kizuki（view spoiler）[Info dump on Kibusuji and his minions。 He can read the minds of all demons he has given his blood to （if he can see them or is close enough） and can always tell their location。 This should have allowed him to find out the secret location of the Demon Slaye I love a good training montage， and this volume is mostly that。 Information on Kibusuji and his 12 Kizuki is revealed to the reader。 The Hashira！， Rehab training at the butterfly mansion， learning about Kibusuji and his 12 Kizuki（view spoiler）[Info dump on Kibusuji and his minions。 He can read the minds of all demons he has given his blood to （if he can see them or is close enough） and can always tell their location。 This should have allowed him to find out the secret location of the Demon Slayer Corp Headquarters – but Nezuko’s curse was removed with Tamayo’s help and Nezuko’s unique abilities and sleep。 The lower 6 are dismantled minus 1 – they are given an abundance of blood and tasked with killing Tanjiro and a member of the Hashira。 （hide spoiler）] 。。。more

5/5！！！ I absolutely love this series。I usually don't like action in my manga because I have a hard time understanding what is going on but not with this series！ I love the characters and the growth we see from all of them and the amazing character design！ This is a lot darker than most of the other Shonen Jumps I've read and I love that。 I think this volume is one of the best starts to a series that I've ever read。 If you enjoy series like D。Gray Man and Naruto I think you should check out this 5/5！！！ I absolutely love this series。I usually don't like action in my manga because I have a hard time understanding what is going on but not with this series！ I love the characters and the growth we see from all of them and the amazing character design！ This is a lot darker than most of the other Shonen Jumps I've read and I love that。 I think this volume is one of the best starts to a series that I've ever read。 If you enjoy series like D。Gray Man and Naruto I think you should check out this manga and the other volumes in the series！ 。。。more

Everything。 I。 Love。 Everything。 I’m over the moon。 We’re introduced to the Nine Hashira， the best of the best when it comes to slaying demons; all of whom are unique and simply the coolest。 It’s wonderful seeing Tanjiro develop his skills as a demon slayer， and grow as a person。He and Nezuko have my whole heart。And Giyū。 🥰And Shinobu。Needless to say， I’m looking forward to what’s to come。

This was actually a pretty good volume and focuses on Shinobu vs Nezuko and then going to meet the other 9 Hashiras and we meet this group of top DSC members and also we meet their leader Ubuyashiki and we learn of Tanjiro's convictions about his sister and even they are convinced that Nezuko wont kill humans no matter what and its a brutal scene and makes the readers angry but then again its so well done and then they recover in Shinobu's care and recover and train and learn new thing and more This was actually a pretty good volume and focuses on Shinobu vs Nezuko and then going to meet the other 9 Hashiras and we meet this group of top DSC members and also we meet their leader Ubuyashiki and we learn of Tanjiro's convictions about his sister and even they are convinced that Nezuko wont kill humans no matter what and its a brutal scene and makes the readers angry but then again its so well done and then they recover in Shinobu's care and recover and train and learn new thing and more revelations with Muzan and his lower 6 top demons。 Great volume and it serves to expand on the different hashiras and kizukis and sets up an inevitable confrontation and also get to see training periods and our boy learning things and also the art is GORGEOUS especially the ones of the ladies！ This manga firing on all cylinders atm！ 。。。more

If the volume 5 was good。 This was AMAZING。 I loved meeting all of the nine Hashira！！ My favorites so far are Tomioka and Shinobu！ Seeing Tanjiro getting better， and better is inspiring。 By the other hand， learning more about the twelve Kizuki is very interesting， I'm a little sad for some of them， they probably were Kids like Rui If the volume 5 was good。 This was AMAZING。 I loved meeting all of the nine Hashira！！ My favorites so far are Tomioka and Shinobu！ Seeing Tanjiro getting better， and better is inspiring。 By the other hand， learning more about the twelve Kizuki is very interesting， I'm a little sad for some of them， they probably were Kids like Rui 。。。more
